Position Summary The Project Lead shall be responsible for coordinating the selection, preparation, attendance, and performance of all role players and role player teams in support of JMAS practical exercises. There are 15-20 different exercises ranging in size from 1 role-player to over 100. Exercise location is the National Capitol Region (NCR) in and around Washington DC. Once per year the Project Lead must support a two-week capstone exercise in Cocoa Beach, FL. Role play exercises teach resistance to exploitation lessons. The number of role players and hours varies per exercise, with some pre/post exercise attendance required. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Become familiar with the exercises and courses being taught and the JMAS provided role that the role players play in the execution of practical exercises. Serve as the primary point of contact between role players and the JMAS. Ensure all contractor role players and instructors are operating within JMAS-established training guidelines and in accordance with learning objectives. Ensure role players and instructors After Action Report (AAR) and evaluation reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Be required to work jointly with government and contractor instructors in support of JMAS learning objectives. Ensure role player personas for Diplomatic reception are delivered to JMAS exercise coordinator 10 days before each exercise. Ensure each RP has 20 business cards associated with their persona available at the Diplomatic Reception for exchange. Qualifications, Knowledge And Skill Required Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Department of War environment. Extensive knowledge and experience in elicitation techniques and methodologies. Highly Desired Qualifications, Knowledge And Skills Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Experience as a role player in support of JMAS exercises. Specific knowledge of embassy operations overseas, understanding of a global workforce, and cross-cultural understanding living and/or working outside of the United States. Physical And Environmental Requirements May be required to use computer screen for extensive periods of time. Extended working hours and travel may be necessary.
