Responsibilities:

• Assist Food Service Director with the following responsibilites:

• Supervise dietary staff and ensure efficient operation of the food service department

• Plan, organize, and direct food production, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation

• Conduct daily routine checks of kitchen equipment, food storage, and dining areas to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

• Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure meal service meets individual patient dietary needs

• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and nutritional outcome

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and customer service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or food service setting; experience as a dietary supervisor or in a related management role is a plus

• Possess a valid food handler's certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
