About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS & BLS Must-Have: Critical Care / Angio (IR) experience Description: Unit Profile: The unit specializes in Angiography and Interventional Radiology. It includes 3 Angiography Labs: 2 dedicated IR Labs and 1 Hybrid OR. The patient ratio is 1:1. Ideal staffing includes a Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, RCIS, with 3-4 person teams consisting of 2 Techs and 2 RNs. Equipment used includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream. The documentation system utilized is EPIC Cupid. Scheduling requirements involve 4 ten-hour shifts with on-call duty. Floating policy is not applicable. Patient experience requirements include ICU and ER experience. Staff members should have critical care medication management and Angio/IR experience, particularly in stroke and trauma care. Procedures performed in this unit include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma. Dress code mandates royal blue and black for RNs and navy blue and black for Technicians. Awards and recognition highlight the unit's status as a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Certified Stroke Center.
