Guiding Lights LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Supports Specialist to join our team in Hopewell, VA! Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals in a residential setting
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately
• Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion for all residents
• Administer medications and monitor health needs as directed
• Respond to behavioral and emotional needs using approved support strategies
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in residential care, direct support, or human services preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a person-centered approach
