Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU, ICU

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current state RN license
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Extensive cardiac experience
- ICU experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care.
- Document patient care according to standards of care.
- Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy, including instruction for patients and families.
- Participate in performance improvement activities within the department or unit.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of patient care continuity.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and patient experience, escalating concerns to the appropriate chain of command.
