The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act. This role involves:

• Utilizing therapeutic communication techniques in daily interactions.

• Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

• Identifying nursing challenges based on the unique needs of each patient.

• Planning personalized patient care through an interdisciplinary approach.

• Engaging in performance improvement initiatives.

• Providing care that aligns with the hospital's mission and vision.

In the role of charge nurse, you will oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include:

• Making staff assignments based on patient needs, acuity levels, and staff competencies.

• Serving as a role model and clinical resource for team members.

• Responding promptly to inquiries or follow-ups regarding physician, staff, or patient matters.

• Current Registered Nurse license.

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
