Service Advisor

Pay: $3,000 + commission Top advisors earn $120,000+ Join the Team at Metro Nissan of Dallas Metro Nissan of Dallas is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing service department. We want a motivated professional who knows the dealership service business, builds lasting customer relationships, and delivers an exceptional experience on every visit. Key Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, building trust and long-term relationships Listen to customer concerns, document vehicle symptoms, and recommend appropriate maintenance and repairs Review vehicle history, open recalls, and factory maintenance schedules on every repair order Prepare accurate repair orders and communicate recommendations clearly Keep customers updated on repair status, completion times, and any additional work needed Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep work moving and repairs done right Explain repair costs, warranty coverage, and recommended maintenance in plain language Review completed work with customers and confirm satisfaction before delivery Schedule follow-up appointments and declined services to keep customers coming back Maintain accurate customer records, repair orders, and service documentation Meet or exceed goals for customer satisfaction (CSI), hours per RO, and service sales Follow dealership policies, Nissan guidelines, and established service processes Required Qualifications Hands‑on experience with Reynolds & Reynolds ERA Ignite in a dealership service department Strong customer service, communication, and relationship‑building skills Ability to explain repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast‑paced drive Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction Ability to work well with technicians, service management, and other departments Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience with Nissan vehicles and manufacturer‑recommended maintenance Proven track record of hitting service sales goals while maintaining high CSI Familiarity with dealership warranty procedures and service operations What We’re Looking For A Service Advisor who is personable, dependable, detail‑oriented, and committed to helping customers take care of their vehicles.
