Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:
- Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Accurately document laboratory work, sample information, and results in logs, reports, and digital systems.
- Assist with sample handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and inventory in clean and operational condition.
- Support QA/QC activities and audits as directed by laboratory leadership.
- Perform risk analysis before assigned tasks to identify and mitigate safety or quality concerns.
- Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives and maintain required safety training.
- Wear appropriate PPE and comply with all HSE policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fewer than two years of relevant laboratory or technical experience.
- Interest in laboratory work and willingness to learn technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Prior coursework or hands-on experience in a scientific setting (e.g., high school chemistry, technical school, or college lab classes).
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment or procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
