As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of over 50 trucks and 250 trailers. Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify issues
• Repair and replace faulty parts and components
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
• Rotating on call schedule
• Overtime as needed 

Required Skills:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment

• - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• - Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
• - Repair or replace faulty components and parts
• - Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed via electronics
• - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
• -Maintain a safe and clean working area
• -Ability to remove and replace tires and wheel ends such as hubs, bearing, and races, with the ability to install back to manufacture specifications
• -Ability to comprehend, diagnose, and repair electrical issues along with ABS systems
• - Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role
• - Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• - Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• - Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• - Excellent problem-solving skills
• - Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
• - Effective communication skills
• -Knowledge of air brake systems

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in welding
• Previous experience in trailer repair
• Experience in electrical diagnostics

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary: $20.00 per hour

Maximum Salary: $30.00 per hour
