Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Profession: Allied

Shift: 8-hour Day Shift
Hours per Shift: 40 hours (Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
License: National Certification
Certifications: BLS, ARRT or NMTCB
Must-Have:
Experience with cardiac scans, stress rest tests, HIDA scans, gastrics, renal scans, bone scans, lung scans/perfusions, GI bleeds, and parathyroid scans.
Comfortable working solo.
Experience with Siemens CKM and Siemens Symbia S.
Description:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures.
The technologist will work with adult patients exclusively.
Common diagnoses include cardiac issues, gastrointestinal conditions, and renal problems.
The technologist will be responsible for the administration of radioactive materials and imaging.
Required skills include starting IVs and performing various nuclear medicine scans.
The technologist must be comfortable working independently as they may be the only technologist on shift.
Support within the department includes management, transport staff, and other technologists during the week.
Technology used includes EMR, PACS, and specific Siemens equipment.
There may be occasional weekend rotations and on-call duties during holidays.
Approval of requested time off must go through management.
