Calhoun's is looking for a Host to join their Kingston Pike and Pellissippi Parkway location!Our "Smiling People Greeters." This individual has great communication skills and for all intents and purposes has never met a stranger. He/She will oversee the layout of the restaurant and make sure tables are cleared and reset. They greet each Guest with a smile and a welcome, explain and direct our system of seating, and is also in charge of communicating volume levels to Management and Staff.Benefits include Medical, Vision, Dental and Meal Discounts. JOB REQUIREMENTSTeam Player with a sense of humorSmiles easily and oftenMust demonstrate good math and communication skillsMust be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequentlyPosition requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workdayWorks well in a group and under some stressTO GO HostsThis is position attained after successful Host duty execution or GM approvalPleasant phone voice and etiquette Listens and takes direction both and from Guests and ManagementMust have excellent menu knowledgeMust be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequentlyPosition requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workdayWill be required to enter and exit building numerous times to service To Go Guests in their carsMust be able to operate handheld payment devises and cash when necessaryBe able to multi-task and assist regular Hosts as needed
