RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Spine Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.

This opportunity will support the Department of Neurosurgery in its clinical and academic mission, as well as the broader RWJBarnabas Health neurosurgical service line. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care with a strong focus on spinal neurosurgery while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Candidate requirements include:

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
• Spine fellowship training preferred
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
• Demonstrated clinical competence and surgical excellence in neurosurgery
• Strong commitment to collaborative patient care, education, and program growth

About the opportunity:

The Spine Neurosurgeon will evaluate and treat patients requiring neurosurgical care, including complex spinal conditions, and will collaborate closely with surgeons, advanced practice providers, nursing, ancillary staff, referring physicians, and other specialists. The role also includes participation in quality improvement, education, clinical leadership, and other activities that support the continued growth and reputation of the Department of Neurosurgery.
