Fulfillment Line Lead

Compensation: Starts at $20.46/hour

Location: Lawrence, KS

Shift: First Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Line Lead to join our Fulfillment team. As a Line Lead , you are responsible for performing various duties on a packaging line and making sure that line is set up and run efficiently throughout the shift while adhering to quality and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Locate, read, and understand all information in the pack out instructions
• Identify equipment and supplies required for line set up
• Perform quality checks
• Set and adjust pallet wrapper and replace roll of strap as needed
• Direct incoming and outgoing material from the line
• Achieve daily production goals
• Implement improvements for productivity
• Ensure productivity and efficiency on the line
• Coach, train, and lead others
• Communicate with various staff members to replenish supplies and materials on the line

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experienced in manufacturing or fulfillment required
• Prior experience leading and training others required
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing standards and practices, including 5S
• Ability to locate, read, and understand instructions
• Effective communication with various levels of staff required
• Safety and quality focused
• Must be dependable
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision required
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must be able to use simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools
