Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Home Health PRN

Give Patients the Support They Need to Stay at Home

Elara Caring is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support home health patients throughout Portland and surrounding communities. You will provide personal, one-on-one care that helps patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

• Support safe movement, positioning, transfers, and mobility

• Help with daily activities according to the patient's Plan of Care

• Observe and report changes in a patient's condition

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

• Communicate with nurses, caregivers, and other members of the care team

• Complete accurate and timely visit documentation

• Protect patient dignity, privacy, and independence

What You'll Bring

• Current CNA certification in Maine

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dedication to safe, high-quality patient care

• Ability to work independently in patients' homes

• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment

• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

The base salary for this position is $19 to $22.00 per hour, based on the company's good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
