Financial Analyst

*This position is intended for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduates with a start date in January 2027 or May/June 2027, depending on the candidate's graduation date* POSITION SUMMARY The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in enabling the sales and contracting processes, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. In this role, the Financial Analyst will support quoting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other various initiatives. This position will have a particular focus on pricing client engagements, confirming contract and project economics, and supporting revenue calculations.This position requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent financial modeling skills. The role will be diverse, challenging and offer opportunities for autonomy and growth. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Review contracts to confirm pricing details Steward the financial transition from closed won opportunities to started projects Support financial reporting functions across the business Key performance reporting, including performance vs budget and KPI reporting Monthly sales performance analysis and sales commissions calculations Support preparations of board of director packages, executive dashboards, and other executive level presentations Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed Other duties, as assigned EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 0 to 2 years of financial analysis experience, preferably within investment/corporate banking, financial due diligence, financial planning & analysis, or consulting QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 Graduation Date Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills History of self-motivation, natural curiosity, independent and analytical thinking, problem solving, continuous process improvement Work broadly across multiple parts of an organization High-level of curiosity and interest in becoming intimately familiar with the operations of a growth-stage company Personable attitudeand comfort working across combination of in-person and remote environments Ability to embrace Clearwater’s CLEAR core values ( C ommitment to Client Success, L ead with Accountability, Integrity & Collaboration, E xcellence in All That We Do, A dvance Colleague Success, R espect & Transparency) and culture PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXPECTATIONS Remain current with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices through ongoing education and professional development opportunities Independently continues education and improvement of technical skills through coursework and certifications Actively seek opportunities to improve financial analysis and reporting capabilities through new tools, technologies, or methodologies Participation in leadership or mentorship programs to enhance management skills and future growth potential within the organization Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
