Job Details Setting: Progressive Care / Telemetry Unit Location: Asheville, North Carolina 28801 Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13-week travel nursing assignment Shift: 12-hour days Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On Call: Not required Floating: May be required to float to other units as needed EMR: Cerner Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 1 year of recent progressive care RN or telemetry nursing experience Strong telemetry competency and clinical assessment skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment Positive, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to nursing care Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to progressive care and telemetry patients Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Manage a mixed-acuity inpatient population with strong attention to detail Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members to support optimal outcomes Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner) Support patient throughput in a unit with quick turnover and short-stay patients Float to other units when needed based on staffing and patient care needs Why Explore This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
