CDL CLASS A DRIVER

Position Title Driver Position Type Full-Time / Part-Time Position Summary The primary purpose of a Commercial Driver is to deliver finished product and pick up soiled product at our customer locations (hospitals and healthcare facilities). This position will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. Responsibilities Collect finished carts: roll the carts from the load building area to the back dock. Load the delivery truck by pushing the carts onto the back of the appropriate truck. Deliver clean linen products to customers. Transport soiled linen back to plant. Follow all federal, state, and local requirements according to DOT rules and regulations. Follow all OSHA rules as they apply to blood‑borne pathogens. Coordinate daily activities with Transportation, Plant Managers, and Team Leaders. Adapt to change and unscheduled events. Maintain vehicle, perform preventative maintenance, and keep the vehicle clean and disinfected after transporting soiled linen. Work rotating shifts. Observe and adhere to all safety procedures and policies. Assist and perform other duties as assigned.
