Location: Northside of Jax (by the airport)
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd available
Pay: $17 - 19.50/hr (DOE)

Job Description
As a order picker, you will be responsible for selecting and scanning products from bay locations throughout the warehouse. You will then transport these items to the picking locations and restock them for the picking department. The role involves operating both an order picker and, occasionally, a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Select and scan products from bay locations using a cherry picker.
• Transport items to picking locations and restock for the picking department.
• Operate an order picker and reach truck occasionally.
• Ensure accurate inventory management by using RF scanners.

Essential Skills

• Experience with order picker operations.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Knowledge of warehouse production and picking processes.
• Ability to operate a stand-up forklift and reach truck.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate controlled environment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a newer distribution center warehouse. The facility is an open bay, non-climate controlled environment, but is equipped with large industrial fans and water stations to ensure comfort.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
