Sr. Java Developer
Location: Troy, MI Duration: Contract Rate: DOE
US Citizens, GC, EAD (H4, L2), E3 TN visa holders preferred, NO third party corp to corp accepted for this job Experience Level 9-10 years Skills & Job Responsibilities:
- At least 7+ years of experience building large-scale software applications
- 7+ years of hands-on exp with Java, Spring boot AWS Service and other API-related technology (EC2, S3, Lamda, API Gateway), Agile and DevOps
- 6+ years of AWS Console, AWS micro services
- 3+ years of experience with PostgreSQL
- Be able to demonstrate expertise using AWS technology
- Fully Cycle AWS Implementation experience
- Extensive knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka
- Knowledge of ReSTful API services
- Work in an agile environment
- Understand business requirements and create plans accordingly
- Design and develop Micro services systems with Java, Spring
- Experience in solving technical issues with thorough research and investigation
- Communicate with the tech lead, to understand the technology thoroughly
- Perform unit and system testing
