Truck Driver

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Drives, loads, and operates Dump Trucks, Tractor Trailer Truck, Asphalt Truck, and Boom Mower.
Drives and operates various heavy, medium, and light duty trucks; drives snowplows and salt/sand spreaders when needed.
Uses various hand-held tools and mechanized hand-held equipment.
Performs duties as assigned (concrete work, asphalt work, etc.).
Inspects equipment/truck and makes minor adjustments or refers to Fleet Services for service.
Serves as First responder in inclement weather. Remains flexible in work schedule and subject to after hour call outs.
Sets up and removes barricades, lane cones, and warning signs to channel traffic around work crews.
Drives truck when traveling to and from job sites.
Assists with clean-up operations at accidents, spills, and other emergencies.
Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years in the operation of construction and maintenance equipment or an equivalent combination of education and experience; must possess a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.

Special Requirements

DRUG TESTING: All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug testing; individual in this position will be subject to random drug & alcohol testing.

Days & Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
