The Facility - Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Medical Center, Bloomfield, NM The DZHC is located in the community of Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle, NM, approximately 30 miles south of Bloomfield, NM, and is under the administrative oversight of the Shiprock Service Unit. The facility opened in 1984 to serve the community of Herfano, Nageezi, and Counselor Chapters and the Client beneficiaries residing in the urban towns of Bloomfield, Aztec, and Farmington, NM. The DZHC provides ambulatory and urgent care services through the following departments: dental, optometry, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, mental health, medical social services, and public health nursing. The specialty services include internal medicine, women's health, obstetrics, and diabetes education and are available by appointment. The non-clinical services are Administration, Medical Records, Acquisitions, Business Office, Facility Maintenance, General Services, Housekeeping, and Security. Facility address: 6 Road 7586 Bloomfield, NM 87413Registered Nurse - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care for outpatient patients of all ages.Perform dressing changes, assist with ambulation, and support activities of daily living.Administer prescribed medications and vaccines.The Registered Nurse performs respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and fit assistive devices like splints or durable medical equipment.Perform urinary catheter placements, collect tissue and biological samples, venipuncture for blood samples, and assist in setting up minor procedures using aseptic techniques.Initiate treatments, administer medications, and perform emergency and resuscitative measures.The Registered Nurse consults with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic regimens for patients.Registered Nurse - REQUIREMENTSEducation: Must have completed an accredited nursing program at the associate or bachelor's level.Licensure: Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.Certification: Valid American Heart Association certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, additional urgent care experience is a plus.KurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
