Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Want to bring your true self on this adventure?YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Support production in a mixed model assembly environmentDevelop, implement, and improve assembly processes to meet cost, quality, and capacity requirementsSpecify, procure, validate, and implement tools, fixtures, and equipmentProvide plant expertise in tool selection and error-proofingApply lean manufacturing principles to improve operationsApply DMAIC methodology to identify root cause and implement permanent solutionsWork closely with team leads and technicians to resolve problemsDevelop and maintain standard work instructionsImplement engineering change noticesAchieve manufacturing engineering milestones for New Product Development programsYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:Required:Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or other technical 4-year degree and 5+ years of relevant work experienceProject management experience is requiredUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principlesAutoCAD knowledge is requiredExperience with SAP is requiredStrong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Google SuiteWillingness to travel (infrequently)Ability to multitask and set prioritiesTeam player with excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skillsPosition requires current work authorization.
