Assists with research project logistics, maintaining records, preparing reports, and meeting research milestones and deadlines. Key Accountabilities Assists with human subjects research activities under supervision, including participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection through surveys, interviews, and observations. Organizes, cleans, and maintains databases, preparing data for analysis under close supervision. Makes confidential records of collected data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity. Prepares annual progress reports and applications for various committees and ensures staff receive proper training. Assists in preparing progress and annual reports, grant proposals to funding agencies, working with the Office of Sponsored Projects. Assists with regulatory submissions (e.g., IRB, FDA). Assists investigator with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, creating figures, tables, and graphs; helps prepare research papers, presentations, and reports. Conducts reviews of academic journals and databases to gather relevant articles for manuscript preparation. Assists in preparing budgets, reviewing re‑budgeting needs and expenditures; attends research‑planning meetings to assist in budget drafts for departmental leadership approval; assists with invoicing. Assists in preparing for and responding to site monitoring visits, audits, and inspections. May be responsible for maintaining study materials (test kits, investigational drugs and devices). Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Must have experience beyond the minimum educational requirement if education is substituted. Minimum Experience: None. Physical Requirements Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
