This position combines security dispatch operations and active patrol duties . You will be responsible for maintaining constant awareness through camera systems and communications, ensuring accurate documentation of all incidents and site activity. Additionally, you will conduct routine patrols to proactively identify risks, enforce site policies, and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Security Officer Positions Rover: Foot patrol officers are responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. Dispatch: The SOC Operator is responsible for monitoring security systems, coordinating emergencies, compiling daily reports, replying to email and phone inquiries, and general workplace duties as needed. The candidate needs to be comfortable in a fast‑paced, growing environment. Superior communication and multi‑tasking skills are strongly desired. A professional yet approachable personality, who can make sound decisions through training with limited supervision, will excel in our environment. Responsibilities Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft or other criminal behavior Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents) Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed Other duties to be determined by management Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age or older High school degree or equivalent TN Guard Card preferred, or the ability to obtain a TN Guard Card Professional demeanor and appearance Basic computer skills Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Minimum of one year of customer service or security service experience Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug) This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time Pay and Benefits Insurance: medical, vision and dental Short term disability Critical care/Hospital Indemnity Complimentary life insurance Pet insurance Legal assistance/guidance Identity theft protection Paid on the job training Paid time off Bi‑Weekly Pay Competitive compensation Career advancement opportunities Continuous learning opportunities through LMS Employee referral bonus program Employee assistance program (EAP) Employee recognition events Employee performance incentives/rewards Professional growth and development opportunities Pension/Retirement 401K benefits EOE/M/F/D/V #J-18808-Ljbffr
