IT Support Technician

Salary: $55,448 - 66,776 per year Requirements:

• Approximately 1–4 years of professional IT support experience, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
• Basic understanding of Active Directory and user account administration
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and firewalls
• Experience supporting common business applications and peripherals
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Willingness to learn and take on progressively more complex technical responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and know when to ask for help
• Professional attitude and genuine desire to help people
• Willingness to take responsibility for both successes and mistakes and learn from them
• Commitment to quality work rather than simply closing tickets
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to local client sites
• Comfort with occasional after-hours maintenance or project work when required

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to our clients users
• Respond to client needs with urgency, professionalism, and a genuine service mindset
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, applications, printers, and peripherals
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services
• Resolve user account, password, permissions, email, and authentication issues
• Perform basic Microsoft 365 and Active Directory user administration
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity
• Install and configure desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other business technology
• Deploy and maintain our remote monitoring, management, and security software
• Monitor client systems and respond to alerts generated by our management platforms
• Perform Windows and third-party application patching and remediation
• Assist with endpoint security and cybersecurity-related issues
• Support server monitoring, troubleshooting, and basic administration
• Provide onsite troubleshooting and service when remote support is not appropriate
• Assist with workstation deployments, office moves, network installations, and other client projects
• Work with third-party technology vendors when needed to resolve client issues
• Accurately document troubleshooting steps, configurations, decisions, and completed work in our service management system
• Own assigned issues through resolution rather than simply passing them along
• Escalate complex issues appropriately while staying involved in the resolution process
• Identify recurring problems and opportunities to improve client technology environments
• Learn from resolved issues and share knowledge that improves the quality and consistency of our service
