RN Float - Night Shift

Provide inpatient float-pool coverage across Moffitt Cancer Center Campus and Moffitt McKinley Campus when regular staff are unavailable Use the nursing process to assess, plan, manage, and evaluate quality care for cancer patients and families Address biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge-planning needs Maintain timely baseline and comparative documentation with age-appropriate consideration Integrate patient- and family-centered care and quality caring factors into practice Identify, document, and provide patient education based on patient learning needs Participate in evidence-based improvement activities related to the area of practice Participate in professional development aligned with nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations Requirements 2+ years of experience in an ICU setting preferred for the ideal candidate Acute care experience Oncology experience Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing, or Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida, or valid multi-state privilege to practice in Florida If licensed in another eNLC compact state with multi-state privileges, must declare Florida as primary state of residence within 60 days of hire Master's degree preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing patient-centered care in oncology settings, utilizing the nursing process to assess and manage complex patient needs. Holds current RN licensure in Florida and engages in continuous professional development aligned with nursing standards.
