Civil Project Engineer

The Opportunity We’re looking for a driven Project Engineer who has passed the FE exam and is ready to grow into a licensed, well-rounded civil engineer. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our senior engineers and project managers on real projects — land development, site design, grading, drainage, stormwater, inspection work — while we invest in your path to your P.E. Responsibilities: Perform engineering calculations, modeling, and design work Prepare technical reports, plan markups, and draft project specifications Collaborate with CAD designers to ensure accurate plan production Assist with permitting applications and construction documents Conduct field visits and site assessments as needed Participate in QA/QC reviews and implement feedback Maintain project files and communicate progress in project meetings Qualifications: REQUIRED Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam 2+ years of engineering design experience (internships count) Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, structural modeling tools) Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and in client-facing settings PREFERRED Experience in site development, land development, grading, drainage, and stormwater management Background in both private development and public/municipal project work Familiarity with Missouri and regional permitting processes Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD Experience in a small or boutique engineering firm environment Demonstrated interest in firm leadership, business development, or ownership Actively pursuing P.E. licensure (preferred) Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 yearly

Compensation:
$70,000-$95,000 per year
