Swamper/General Oilfield Laborer

Swamper/General Oilfield Laborer - Ross ND Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. Help equipment operator if necessary. Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks. Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary. Perform site clean-up. Available to work overtime and weekends when asked. Duties & Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on oilfield projects. Assist truck driver with any tasks on or outside of the truck being operated or for the specific job assignment. Maintain proper housekeeping in the truck, wash unit in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Load and unload material manually, haul and hoist materials (pipe, supplies). Perform shop maintenance duties when needed. Complete required work plans, job safety analysis, observations, and attend safety meetings as required. Other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities and Physical Demands Basic knowledge of oilfield preferred. Interact with others in a team environment and complete daily activities according to work schedule. Work in all types of outdoor climates and conditions. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods and perform strenuous physical labor. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. Can follow and transmit written and oral instructions. Responsible to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
