Nurse

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a night shift nurse LPN or RN who is compassionate and dedicated to join our healthcare team. We are a Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in specialty care assisted living. The LPN/RN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver essential nursing services, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.

*Duties*

* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
* Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status
* Assist in patient assessments and develop care plans
* Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
* Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies
* Participate in discharge planning and case management for continuity of care
* Support patients with developmental disabilities, Alzheimers care, memory care, and geriatrics

*Skills*
Candidates should possess a variety of skills that enhance their ability to provide excellent patient care. Preferred skills include:

* Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient assessment and treatment plans
* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
* The ability to redirect and distract unhealthy behaviors
