In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large, multi-location workforce.Location: Medford, OR (on-site)Compensation Range: $21.65-31.25/hr, with a starting rate of $24.00/hr. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.What You'll Do:Worker Changes & Employee Data Management:Verify and maintain accurate employee information, including new hires, rehires, transfers, position changes, and pay rate updatesProcess off-cycle payroll checks and employee terminations in a timely mannerPayroll Processing:Process payroll for 750–1,000 employees depending on payroll frequencyCollect and validate payroll data from store locationsRun payroll data retrieval and calculation processesImport payroll data into Workday and review reports for accuracy and completenessAudit payroll registers to identify and resolve missing information or calculation discrepanciesEnsure store payrolls are finalized and confirmed in accordance with processing deadlinesPost store general ledgers (G/Ls) and maintain accurate payroll documentationUpdate shared tracking logs including payroll confirmations, register approvals, and payroll exceptionsScan and maintain required payroll documentation following each payroll cycleComplete month-end account reviews for assigned stores by the fourth business day of each monthCollect and maintain standard pay plans while updating payroll calculation details as neededConduct audits and data reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity within Workday reportingWhat You'll Bring:You're organized, manage your time effectively, and can balance multiple priorities.You enjoy working in a dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and quality.You communicate effectively, listen thoughtfully, and enjoy solving problems in a collaborative environment.A bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.Previous payroll experience is a plus.We prefer experience with accounting, reporting, or financial processes.We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your family, including: Competitive payMedical, Dental and Vision PlansPaid Holidays & PTOShort and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Life Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Purchase PlanLithia Learning CenterVehicle Purchase DiscountsWellness ProgramsFor a more detailed view, visit: .High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
