Electrical QA/QC Inspector

The QA/QC Representative plays a key role in ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical construction work on large-scale data center and other mission-critical projects. This position works directly with the QA/QC Lead Inspection Manager to perform inspections, support commissioning and turnover activities, and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with construction documents, specifications, industry standards, and approved submittals.
• Conduct quality audits of ongoing field work and identify deficiencies requiring corrective action.
• Review installation activities involving power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, raceways, cable tray, grounding, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, quality documentation, test records, and turnover packages.
• Track and manage punch list items through completion, ensuring timely resolution of all outstanding issues.
• Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspections and quality activities with project teams, subcontractors, commissioning agents, and third-party inspectors.
• Participate in pre-installation meetings, quality planning sessions, and constructability reviews to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Monitor testing activities and verify that required documentation is complete and accurate prior to system turnover.
• Assist in developing corrective action plans and quality improvement initiatives to enhance project performance.
• Support commissioning, startup, and owner acceptance processes by providing quality oversight and documentation.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement on all project sites through daily interactions and adherence to best practices.

Essential Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in data center, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial construction environments.
• Experience supporting projects involving medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Experience with electrical construction, including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, raceways, cable tray, and grounding.
• Experience in construction, construction management, project coordination, quality assurance, and QA/QC practices.
• Experience using project management and construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience as an Electrician or equivalent field experience in electrical construction.
• Ability to perform inspections and oversight of electrical construction work and project activities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate quality and inspection documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction setting and collaborate effectively with field teams and project stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover documentation is a plus.
• NICET, OSHA, NETA, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Experience with oversight and project management activities on electrical construction projects.
• Exposure to data center, mission-critical, industrial, and pharmaceutical project environments.
• Interest in career advancement into Project Management, supported by mentorship from experienced construction leaders.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time role based in Fairless Hills, PA, with a typical schedule of approximately 50-60 hours per week. The position is primarily onsite at project locations and construction offices, combining office-based project administration with active support on project sites. The environment is fast-paced, with frequent interaction with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and leadership.
