Job OpportunityPosition: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Contract - 13 Weeks)Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) with a target start date of ASAP. This role requires flexibility for both nights and weekends, with no on-call requirements.Unit Information:Location: City, StateFacility Department Number: 63078Number of Beds: 34Staffing: Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 9 RNs, 4 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 9 RNs, 4 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)Patient Ratios: 4:1Type of Equipment Used: Bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, standing scales, wheelchairs, hoyer lift.Qualifications:Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)Preferred Certifications: CATN (Certified Advanced Trauma Nurse)TCAR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)TCCN (Trauma Certified Cortical Nurse)Key Responsibilities:Perform nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition.Assist in emergency procedures including chest tube placement and bedside bronchoscopy.Best Personality Fit: We are looking for candidates who are teamwork-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Dress Code: Scrub Color: Navy Blue tops and pants.
