Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 36-hour work week with rotating weekends and holidays
• No on-call requirements
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience in hospital setting
• Virginia license or compact state license required at submission
• Work independently providing single staff coverage for both CT and X-ray modalities
• Handle moderate pediatric volume in acute stroke ready environment
• Perform normal emergency room procedures (no surgical procedures or biopsies)
• Work with GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable x-ray equipment
• Use Meditech and Sectra documentation systems
• Required certifications: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT
• Dress code requires grey scrubs
• No floating required between units
• Must demonstrate professional, friendly communication skills and ability to work independently
• Average 80 patients per day with 100+ during winter surge periods
• Work in 12-bed freestanding emergency room with 7 vertical fast track areas
