About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: Active BLS Certification Active ACLS Certification Active NIHSS Certification Must-Have: Work history Skills checklist specific to Progressive Care Unit 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years Driver's License Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the registered nurse contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. Patient ratios are 1:4, but can go up to 1:5. Floating is required to all inpatient and emergency department areas. Types of patients include those with Congestive Heart Failure, Ablation, Angiogram, Transcarotid Artery Revascularization, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, Stroke, Pacemaker needs, and Sepsis. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
