Emergency Department RN

Job Description One of the major healthcare organizations in Gainesville, GA, is looking to hire a full time ED RN. This health system is a level 1 trauma center comprised of 84 patient rooms. This department fulfills the following responsibilities: Provides care for the emergent and non-emergent population Assessing patients’ healthcare needs, stabilizing as is possible, and evaluating patients with life threatening conditions, providing services immediately indicated. Establishing and maintaining necessary training programs to provide ED and community personnel with the basic skills to intervene in life threatening situations Communicating the availability of follow up care as provided by the hospital or other community health care services Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia. Educational Requirements: Associate degree, ADN or Diploma required Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
