Description:

Job Title: Equipment Operator / Maintenance

Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent

Compensation: Hourly

Job Summary:

Daily golf course setup; walk mowing greens, rake bunkers, changing cups, tee service divot repairs
Operates Toro Mowers; greens, tees, fairway, roughs, and collars (different heights)
Operates all types of equipment; hand-held power tools, utility carts, mowers, tractors, etc.
Edger/Weed-eater/Power Trimmers/Chainsaws
Attention to detail
Refills fuel, cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately.
Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Preferably 1 to 2 years experience
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to work in the heat for extended periods.
Ability to understand daily assignments.
Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, coworkers and members.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
Will train.
