SAP S/4HANA Engineer

Baer is looking for SAP MFG Optimization Project Manager for a 6+ month project located in Lynnfield, MA Title: SAP MFG Optimization Project Manager Location: Hybrid Lynnfield, MA (on-site 3 days/week) Duration: 6 months Rate: All-Inclusive Alignment: W2 or C2C Overview Lead SAP Manufacturing Optimization initiatives for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP/PP-PI) and Quality Management (QM) in a multi-site manufacturing environment. Manage end-to-end project delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful integration with SAP EWM, Inventory Management, and plant-floor systems while delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Description: Lead SAP Manufacturing Optimization projects using SAP Activate and Fit-to-Standard methodologies. Manage optimization of SAP S/4HANA PP, PP-PI, and QM processes, including production planning, process orders, recipes, BOMs, routings, MRP, batch management, and quality management. Coordinate integration with SAP EWM, Inventory Management, MES, and automation systems. Facilitate Fit-to-Standard/Fit-Gap workshops and collaborate with plant operations, business stakeholders, and technical teams. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates, and communicate with executive stakeholders. Lead cross-functional teams, manage resources, and resolve project risks and conflicts. Utilize project management tools such as Wrike, Jira, or Asana to manage project execution and reporting. Support user adoption, training, documentation, and change management activities. Travel to manufacturing sites as required to support project implementation.

Requirements: 6+ years of project management experience, including 4+ years leading SAP full lifecycle implementation projects focused on Manufacturing. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP), Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI), and Quality Management (QM). Experience with SAP Activate methodology, Fit-to-Standard workshops, and SAP implementation best practices. Experience managing integration with SAP EWM, Inventory Management, and manufacturing execution/automation systems. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and business analysis skills. Experience using project management tools such as Wrike, Jira, or Asana. Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred. Experience with process manufacturing, recipe management, batch traceability, and quality controls is highly desirable. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
