Work Environment

Based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Winchester, VA, our clinic is designed to support various therapeutic practices and modalities. The facility features advanced technology and equipment to facilitate optimal patient recovery. Our physical therapists work collaboratively in a close-knit environment, exchanging ideas and methodologies while ensuring every patient receives personalized care. The clinic operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, fostering a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Elite Physical Therapy & Stability Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, using both subjective and objective assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implementing treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, continuously adjusting plans to align with patients’ evolving needs and healthcare regulations.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, ensuring accurate records that reflect treatment goals, evaluation results, and ongoing care strategies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care and communicate significant patient progress or changes in condition.
• Participating actively in discharge planning, providing guidance for follow-up care, and ensuring patients understand their recovery strategies.
• Engaging in continual professional development, attending facility meetings, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives such as our Access NRH strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on outpatient orthopedic patients experiencing various musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse age groups and backgrounds, helping them navigate their rehabilitation journey from acute injuries to chronic conditions. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, showcasing practical knowledge and application of treatments.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with additional familiarity in clinical practice settings, knowledge of electronic medical record systems, or specialized certifications in orthopedics will be highly regarded. Experience with evidence-based practices and a strong commitment to continuing education will also be advantageous.
