DescriptionKforce's client in Torrance, CA is seeking a Principal Hardware Design Engineer (hybrid) to join a highly technical engineering team where you'll have end-to-end ownership of complex hardware designs and see your work deployed in real-world systems.Key Responsibilities include:* Design and development of complex digital hardware systems from concept through production* Design high-speed embedded electronics featuring FPGAs, secure processing, networking, and storage* Drive system-level design decisions, technical tradeoffs, and risk management for complex engineering programs* Contribute to the establishment of engineering best practices, design standards, and process improvements across the organizationRequirements* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline* Demonstrated experience designing complex embedded digital hardware from concept through production* Experience with all aspects of digital board level design, including schematic entry, layout guidelines, signal integrity simulations, and prototype validation* Knowledge of high-speed digital design, modern memory technologies, and high-performance interconnects* Strong communication and collaboration skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation180000 - $200000
