On-Site Electrician

Job Summary EMCOR Services Betlem is looking for on‑site facilities personnel with 3‑5 years of experience to provide electrical system service and general facilities work. Responsibilities include power, control, and security wiring; preventative maintenance; and general maintenance to ensure tasks are organised, performed safely, and completed on time. Responsibilities Support general building operations and perform electrical work required for installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities. Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications to perform electrical work. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical distribution systems equipment, including generators, transformers, MCC switchboards, controllers, circuit breaker panels, variable frequency drives, life safety equipment, UPS, motors, lighting systems, grounding systems, batteries, and charging devices. Repair starters, breakers, switches, receptacles, and wiring. Re‑lamp and repair light fixtures and components indoor and outdoor. Operate, inspect, maintain, and assist in repairs of the building Energy Management System, Building Automated System, Fire Safety System, and lighting systems as required. Conduct daily/weekly tours of mechanical spaces, public areas, and building grounds. Trace wire pulls for phone and data drops and assist outside vendors on projects when needed. Provide information for the client work‑order tracking system, develop materials lists, and offer technical support for projects. Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot, and repair electrical problems. Procure materials and manage inventory as directed by the client. Assist other trades as a general mechanic when required. Respond after hours to emergencies. Configure workstations and office equipment. Communicate with the client and staff to assure customer satisfaction. Notify management immediately of significant problems. Resolve problems promptly. Comply with corporate policies on safety, ethics, and time constraints. Plan ahead for projects to maximise productivity. Account for time each week on client time tickets. Collaborate as a team player in a quality environment. Complete work in accordance with EMCOR Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures. Qualifications Experience: 3‑5 years in electrical system service and general facilities work. Compensation $35.00–$40.00 per hour.
