Prevention and Wellness Program Specialist - Substitute

The WCESC is looking for a substitute Prevention and Wellness provider who will work collaboratively with school teams to support student social-emotional and behavioral needs. In this role, you will partner with staff across buildings to implement proactive supports, facilitate problem-solving discussions, and contribute to systems that promote student well-being. Your work may include regular collaboration with counselors and administrators in the implementation of building wide social emotional initiatives, maintaining a consistent and accessible presence to respond to crisis situations, and coordinating student/family access to community resources.

Title: Program Specialist with a Tier 1 Focus

Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Student Programming and Services

FLSA Status: Exempt

Essential Functions

• Training and coaching to support Warren County ESC personnel to implement evidence based Tier 1 strategies and practices, in order for 80% of the school population to find success in academics, behaviorally, social emotional needs, and improve student attendance.
• Support Warren County ESC student programs to meet identified goal for what success looks like for their specific population of students.
• Training and coaching to support Warren County ESC personnel to implement Tier 2 evidence-based interventions.
• Trainer for implementation of the use of the SWIS system within PBIS implementation for data collection with the Warren County ESC student programs.
• Collect program wide data and report to student program leadership the key performance indicators to support in school wide programming decisions (includes attendance, academic progress monitoring, restraint and seclusion data, and behavior incidents).
• Following surveying staff and leadership on needed training topics; to coordinate experts to provide trainings that align with goals of the organization. Provide ongoing support to implement the concepts trained on.
• Provide needed trainings for Warren County ESC employees and school district partners on identified topics of need.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Three to Five Years of experience in the educational field.
