Facilities Supervisor

Clear Lake, IA | Night Shift (Sun‑Thurs) Shift: Night Shift - start time varies 3:30-5:30 PM Current Need McKesson is seeking a Facilities Operations Supervisor to lead facility maintenance operations within our highly automated pharmaceutical distribution center in Clear Lake, IA. This role is responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting automation systems, and driving operational excellence in a 24/7 environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop maintenance and janitorial team members. Oversee facility maintenance, automation equipment, conveyors, sortation systems, and material handling equipment. Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, DEA, DOT, and facility safety requirements. Manage facility projects, contractor relationships, and vendor performance. Oversee security systems, preventative maintenance programs, and facility audits. Manage MRO inventory, budgets, and resource planning. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, reliability, and operational performance. Minimum Requirements 2+ years of leadership experience in facilities, maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or distribution operations. Experience leading frontline employees in a fast‑paced operational environment. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of PLCs, warehouse control systems, and industrial automation equipment. Experience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems. Strong problem‑solving, project management, and vendor management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS platforms. Education Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Working Conditions Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call support as needed. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in an industrial distribution environment.
