Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join a fast-paced outpatient imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality MRI scans, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Key Responsibilities

• Review physician orders and patient medical history prior to imaging procedures
• Educate patients about MRI procedures, safety protocols, and expectations
• Position patients correctly and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Administer contrast media when required, following scope of practice
• Monitor patient condition during scans and respond to any changes immediately
• Evaluate image quality and repeat or adjust scans when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation and transmit imaging results appropriately
• Ensure adherence to MRI safety standards and radiation protection guidelines

Qualifications / Requirements

• ARRT (MRI) certification or ARMRIT certification required
• Active or eligible New Mexico state MRI Technologist license
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging protocols
• Ability to work independently in an outpatient imaging environment

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Prior MRI experience in hospital or outpatient setting
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-volume imaging workflow

Pay & Compensation

• Salary Range: $51,376 – $66,352 annually
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid in two installments after 90 days and 12 months)
