Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Finisher & Machine Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our production processes by assisting with various tasks in the shop environment. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Our employees MUST be self-starters and able to multitask and prioritize numerous duties and assignments.

Our typical work week is Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Eastern Time. Occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities

Hand finishing of metal parts.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Wearing proper PPE (personal protection equipment).
Running various machinery, tools and equipment including but not limited to manual lathes, parts tumblers, blasters, parts washers, and electro-anodizing units.
Performing preventative maintenance of machines and equipment.
Assisting the General Manager in day to day operations, as instructed.
Assembling products according to OZ Machine Company’s control plans and high quality standards.
Responsibilities may change; be added or deleted.
