Position Summary Tanglewood Wealth Management is seeking an experienced Associate Advisor to support our Wealth Advisors in delivering a high-touch, planning-driven client experience. This role is intended to strengthen advisor capacity, improve responsiveness, and help ensure consistent follow-through across client relationships. The Associate Advisor will work closely with lead Advisors in meeting preparation, financial planning analysis, tax and estate planning coordination, follow-up execution, and ongoing client service. Responsibilities Support Lead Advisors in the management of assigned client relationships Coordinate planning work related to retirement, estate, insurance planning and other wealth management topics Attend client meetings and help document observations, recommendations, and action items Coordinate post-meeting follow-up and ensure timely completion of client service tasks Participate in new client data intake, organization, and analysis Assist with tax planning reviews, including organization and delivery of tax-related planning output Maintain accurate client records and planning documentation within firm systems Communicate with clients and professional partners, as appropriate, regarding follow-up items and information requests Qualifications 3+ Years experience at RIA or wealth planning firm. Strong understanding of financial planning concepts, including retirement, tax, insurance, and estate planning Exceptional oral and written communication skills are paramount. Have the CFP® certification or be working toward its achievement. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite, particularly Excel is a plus. Familiarity with industry tech like e-Money, Right Capital, Holistiplan, and Salesforce is also preferred. To succeed at Tanglewood, an Associate Advisor must possess integrity, empathy, attention to accuracy, and excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Competitive salary depending on experience Discretionary annual performance bonus 401(k) and Profit sharing plan with firm contributions typically up to 13% per year with immediate vesting.
