Summary: THE THERAPIST I, UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION, PROVIDES PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC SERVICES TO AN ASSIGNED PATIENT POPULATION USING THE ESTABLISHED STANDARDS OF CARE WITHIN HIS/HER SCOPE OF PRACTICE.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field or bachelors degree plus two years behavioral health assessment experience required or LPN degree plus two years behavioral health assessment experience or two years experience completing group activities/therapy. Healthcare provider (CPR) certification within 6 months and comprehensive crisis management certification required within 12 months of start date in position/department; private vehicle for transportation during assigned working hours; current driver's license and automobile insurance required.
