Minnetonka Masters Assistant Swim Coach (part-time) JobID: 8722 Position Overview Position Type: Aquatics / Swim Coach / Assistant Coach Date Posted: 7/8/2025 Location: Minnetonka Aquatics Center and MMW pool Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: open until filled Assignment Schedule is in the early morning Monday - Saturday, one to two mornings per week. Flexibility needed for scheduling with other Aquatics programs and events. Minimum Hourly Rate $22.00 – Click here for the Minnetonka Aquatics pay schedule. Pay schedule can be found in Appendix D. Not benefit eligible. Primary Objective of Position Coach practices and work with adult swimmers of various ages and abilities. Job Responsibilities Teach adult swimmers of all ages and abilities. Run workouts without supervision. Attend Minnetonka Aquatics meets and events as needed. Maintain a high level of responsibility and professionalism. Job Qualifications Extensive background in competitive swimming. Experience as a swim coach for at least 2 years. Experience with triathlon and open water swimming (preferred). Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults. Current American Red Cross Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Swim Coaches Safety Training (preferred). Demonstrated leadership and public relations skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Possess ability to utilize various teaching methods. Possess ability to structure appropriate workouts for swimmers based on season training plan. Strong communication skills and positive interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
