Description:
Must live 100 miles away.
Three 12-hour day shifts required.
BLS and ACLS certification is required.
NRP certification is required.
AWHONN - Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse is required.
Labor and Delivery experience is required.
Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant individuals at 17 weeks gestation, and laboring patients.
Scheduled procedures include C-sections and external cephalic versions.
Triage issues are part of the unit's activity.
The unit manages admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C-sections).
Common equipment used includes fetal monitors and documentation systems.
