About the Position

Travel MRI Technologist

Location: 1200 Northside Forsyth Drive, Cumming, GA 30041
Department: 720F MRI
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Weekend Shift)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
• AHA BLS (Required)
• ARRT (MRI) Certification (Required)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations for Emergency Department, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Operate in a 24-hour MRI department with an average of 25–30 patients per day
• Ensure high-quality imaging while following established MRI safety protocols
• Document patient information and imaging procedures using Cerner
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide timely diagnostic imaging services

Important Information

• No local candidates (must reside 50+ miles from the facility).
• Travelers are expected to work the following holiday schedule:
  • 2 Major Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day
  • 1 Minor Holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
