About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience in a hospital or medical center setting. License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license required at the time of submission. Certifications: AHA or ARC American Heart Association BLS, AHA or ARC American Heart Association ACLS required. Must-Have: - Proficiency in ortho/orthopedics. - Proficiency in neuro/neurology. - Proficiency in general, GYN/gynecology. - Proficiency in operating DaVinci robotics. - Ability to work required holidays unless the unit is closed. - 3 months of current travel experience within the previous 18 months. Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates through phone calls or texts. Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius. Experience in scrub is preferred. Experience proficiency in urology and podiatry is highly preferred. EPIC charting experience is preferred, but training will be provided if needed. Contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day. Candidates must have a professional reference or reference check from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO performance evaluation within the last 24 months. A driver's license is required. All applicants will undergo a comprehensive skills checklist specific to the discipline.
